CAST is a theater organization helping to preserve the arts in the greater Manchester area and beyond. CAST started as a small childrens' theater group run out of the home of its Co-Founder, Donna Mercier. In the beginning, CAST operated primarily during the summer, mounting musical productions out of Manchester High School's Bailey Auditorium. However, since inception, CAST has grown ten fold.
CAST, Inc. now operates out of its own facility on Summit Street in Manchester, CT. CAST has grown from a childrens' theater group doing summer musicals to a full scale theater group offering year-round productions and classes for children. There is also a splinter group known as CAST After Dark offering theater productions for teens and adults. CAST is a nonprofit organisation run by volunteers and all funds raised are used to maintain our program.
